fashion week: a week-end rambling
So, fashion week is officially over. If you follow the show you end up getting pretty overwhelmed, so I’m taking a step back and looking over what we garnered.

I think indie style is making pretty big headway. If you look at the shows, you cna attempt to find trends (feathers, skinny belts, etc) but for a vast majority of the week, the looks were kind of all over the place. The color palette was kind of set (neutrals, grey, yellow and island colors) but other than that you had everything from Calvin Klein’s simple t-shirt dresses to whatever it was that Marc Jacobs dreamed up in rehab. Fashion has truly become individualist.
So no roundups of what’s hot and what’s not here. Just a little hope for the indie designer working in his or her bedroom.
