I don’t usually write about men’s stuff, since that’s usually taken care of Colbert and Mike at MetroStyleMen and Dexie at She Knows Best.

But a while ago I was shopping for a new wallet for my boy a while ago and I stumbled across db clay. These guys got their start making duct tape wallets and it’s now an arsenal of artistic wallets.

Their wallets are constantly updated with new looks and they come out in sets of “versions.” The newest version is made exclusively out of Tope.

What is Tope, you ask?

It’s like vinyl canvas, but it doesn’t use PVC and it’s completely vegan and non-toxic. I have no idea what it really is. However, I can tell you it’s water-resistant and pretty nifty-lookin. Nice to know a wallet manufacturer is trying to be eco-friendly.

They’re releasing a number of new wallets in May and July. I love the looks of these and the point of view they have. Lookit this preview I snagged of a wallet called “childhood chores.”

I forgot to tell you my favorite part. There is a number of puzzle wallets that my friends over at db clay make as well. There are 500 of them, and they’re all different.
