gaiterettes: victorian shoe add-ons

Ohmigosh. I am going to gush over these.

*commence gushing*

These are gaiterettes. They are basically add-ons to your shoes to give them a victorian look. They slip over your shoes and then you button them up. They look great over tights.

The pattern is absolutely divine and incredibly intricate. I love the distressed brown color, which will work with brown and black.

LesFrivolites will make these for your ankle size if they won’t fit you.

I can’t see why no one else makes these. This is why indie designers are so amazing. What mainstream designer would make these? They’d just make some sort of shoe with this look and sell them at an audacious price.

They can spice up any on pair of shoes and will certainly draw attention to your gams.
