guest post: vika brown: girlish glamour

Vika Brown moved to Chicago from the Ukraine in 1998, and the local fashion scene has benefited ever since. Her creations manage to mix feminine details with enough of an edge to keep everything from being too saccharine, and she always include trademark details like intricate little pleats.
Some of the pieces you’ll find in her current collection include luscious jewel-toned frocks and blouses, wool jackets with nipped-in waists (perfect for hourglass girls), and chic little black dresses done in thick wool and trimmed with satin ruffles. She also crafts luxe one-of-a-kind knit pieces, and recently opened her own boutique, Eclectica.
